SO SO SORRY FOR BEING SO LATE

MY selected judge nkept bailing on me and my artist flopped out on me so I was left with nothing for a bit. Plus a lot of difficuly stuff in the real world. Ya know how it iiiiis. But we now have an artist who has graciously volunteered to be our prize drawer, which is one of our own very own staff members IndiMage!! Hooray! But let's get down to the part we've been waiting a whole month for!!

It was extremely extremely hard to choose these, there was so many good ones it was hard to really place them! But after a long long time talking with each other, we think we figured it out. Since there wasn't very much Fics vs Pics this time, We decided to do the normal third, second and first!! Let's go from the bottom up~

Third Place:

You were actually one of the few to use the Fauchereve form of Gerrmany very creatively and not just using the non-canon Shadow design, not to mention giving very creative deaths for the heros shown to make us all wonder how the battle might have gone down~ (I know the judge was digging that Japan's katana was in America, very nice touch!!). Very simple and gruesome, very nice!!

Second Place:

Starting the game strong, this one has been the favorite of most of the staff from the different types of torture and the Fauchereve's method of all of them!! All to the tiniest detail it was a glorious gory display with a good portion of mental torture with it!! However, the reason why something so loved isn't in first is because was the choice of Italy to be the one having being talked to about the torture of his friends. If instead it would have been an enemy of the Fuachereve such as Germany or even England, it would have stuck to the canon a lot closer and finished off first. But as it is, it's a creepy comic we'll continue to enjoy~~

First Place:

With high marks all across the board, this one takes the cake!! It was agreed with the judges that this was the closest that really almost anyone had gotten for a victims dream with the Fauchereve, especially one who isn't as close to him as Austria, Canada and Italy, to just shove their most primal desires at them. Not to mention following an almost nightmare logic as Prussia leaped from one event to hte next, leaving what was left in decay. Not to mention the wonky writing style really caught our attention, and I'm surprised that sort of thing could be accomplished in dA writing!! We hope this fic serves as a reminder to those always curious about what would happen in people's dreams when they experience the Fauchereve for the first few times.

That's right, with the hiatus going, might as well stir up the creative juices. And this one is quite a whopper! Voted in by the fans, the topic for this Contest is:

Horror

You heard me right, horror. This is available in both art (traditional and digital) and also in fanficition. Let's see if you words and images can sicken us and make us cringe with worry and fear.

Where'd that topic even come from? Well originally Piano and I wanted this game to have way more of a horror feel, but it turned into more of a fantasy adventure, which is absolutely fine but we do wonder about the Horror aspect. Though some people would argue its pretty terrifying enough, haha! We're not the kings of Creeptalia for nothing.

So Yes, make something with the Dreamtalia world that is horribly dark, gory and/or twisted, but still have it pretty close to the game canon. Like for example the Fauchereve can't suddenly have only a nightmare world of a pain for his host, because we all know that's not the case. Also, mega bonus points for not making the terrifying aspect about it being about it Shadow Italy. Though there is terrifying aspects like his looks, you can tap into so much more about his personality. (~~hint: there is signs and stories on Kyo's dA about how he can be extremely abusive towards the Arcana's, World being the biggest case. He didn't flip his lid for no reason~~) Not t omention the Arcanas, there is a bit of material there!!
